Through this two-day intensive workshop we will learn how our culture is currently controlled by a system of violence and what can be done to change it. We will explore the principles of nonviolence, and that nonviolence is not passive but active engagement. We will develop skills in listening and communicating in order to foster better relationships and more harmonious communities. And we will discuss strategies to bring a nonviolent social movement to your local communities. There will be small group and large group exercises, journalling and discussions throughout the two days. Tea and snacks will be provided. Please bring a bag lunch.
