Hand Embroidered Outline/Drawing Style Pet Portrait - $250

How to Reserve a Commission
1. Complete the Pet Portrait Commission Form by clicking the "Commission Form" button below (I work on a limited number of commissions at a time--the Pet Portrait Commission Form will serve as a waitlist if the commissions are full, until there is an opening.) 2. To reserve and place your commission order click on the "Place a Commission Request" button below. You will be redirected to my Ko-Fi site where you will select the "Request This" button. 3. Once the commission has been requested, you can submit up to five photos, using the "add attachment" link on the Ko-fi commission page. (visit Photo Guidelines by clicking here) 3. Once the photos are received I will contact you with details on how the commission will proceed. (Please give me 48 hours from the time the photos are uploaded to reply). |

Commission Terms
By providing photos to create the embroidery, you (the client) acknowledge that the client owns the photos and is permitting A.S. Galbraith (the artist) to use the photos to create an artistic work (the product). [The artist cannot use photographs taken by professional photographers.]
Please allow 4-6 weeks from the time of the artist's acceptance of adequate photos to complete the embroidered portrait.
NOTE: some pieces may take longer than others, such as those that are complex (curly hair, detailed scales, or feathers, etc), or if the composition requires the artist to create a drawing not based directly on a photograph provided--if artist is required to create an original composition an additional fee may be applied).
-- The artist cannot guarantee completion by a specific date. (If the portrait is for a gift (such as a birthday, for a holiday, etc.) It is recommended that you place an order at least 6 months in advance.)
These original pet portraits are for personal use only. By providing photos to create the embroidery, you are acknowledging they are your photos and granting the artist (A.S. Galbraith) permission to use the photos to create an artistic work. You are purchasing the original creation, not the copyright. The artist retains all copyrights to the artwork.
Due to the specificity of the subject, and the time and material investment involved in making these one-of-a-kind embroideries, the artist cannot issue refunds once photos are accepted for drafting the composition. If, after receiving the portrait, there is some defect in the embroidery (not the frame), the artist will do all possible to repair or correct the defect without further charge.
The client is purchasing the original creation, not the copyright. The client is not permitted (in any way or form) to resell the product or images of the product online or in stores. Using the product on mugs, t-shirts, or any other merchandise is prohibited in all cases. This also includes redistribution of print on paper as posters or in any other material format. If the product is used commercially and makes a profit, it violates use and copyright laws. Violations include reposting artwork without credit to or written permission of the artist.
In addition, the client may not enter the product in contests, raffles, competitions, or anything of the same nature in all cases. Using the product in art galleries, museums, art stores, public spaces, and all other public displays is prohibited without the written consent from the artist.
Any artwork such as sketches, revisions, and the final product remains the property of the artist and may not be used commercially by the client in any way. The artist retains all copyrights to the artwork.

PLEASE NOTE: I only make embroidered portraits of companion animals. I don't make portraits of zoo animals, fantasy creatures, fictional characters, or people.
